Stanley Robinson who was a long serving member of the Southend & Westcliff Hebrew Congregation clocked up the longest number of years as a serving Gabbi over the Synagogue's one hundred years plus history. He was an active member of the Shul's council and was very involved in the community's Security, Health & Safety, organizing pro Israel events and the community's annual Lag B'omer BBQ. He would lead services in Shul or at Shiva houses as and when needed as well as attending numerous levoyahs to ensure there was a minyan. Stanley was an asset to the community and will be greatly missed.
